My neighbour and I got talking about our cars outside the building yesterday, and he said I am crazy for never touching the gearbox oil on my Audi Q5. I have lived in MBZ City for three years now, and the car has about seventy eight thousand kilometres. It drives well, no jerks, no lights, no noise. But the summer heat here is no joke, and the car sits in the sun a lot because my parking has no shade. Last night I looked around for some guidance and found some Quality Audi transmission fluid change tips for MBZ City drivers, and the main thing I understood was that hot weather ages the oil faster, so waiting for a problem may not be the best plan. That got me thinking. Should I be changing it earlier than the number in the manual because of the temperature? Also, I do mostly short trips to the mall and the supermarket, and I read that short trips can be harder on the oil than one long drive. Is that true? Another thing I wonder about is whether a small workshop can do this properly, or if it is safer at the dealer, because the price difference is quite big. And is it normal for the mechanic to change the filter at the same time? I would love to hear what interval you follow, how much you paid, and if you felt any difference after the change.

Living in MBZ City, how do you handle Audi gearbox oil in this heat? -
What does 50Ah actually mean, and is a bigger number always better?I have a small Suzuki Alto that I use only to go to the market and drop my niece at school, and I never thought about the battery until last week when it started clicking in the morning. I took the old one out with my brother’s help and saw 50Ah written on the side, and now I am curious what that really means. My brother says it is how much power the battery holds, so a higher number must be better. But my neighbor Tariq told me that is not always true, and that buying a much bigger one for a small car can be a waste of money or may not even fit in the space. I honestly do not know who is right, so I thought I would ask here before spending anything. Is Ah like the fuel tank size of a battery, meaning a bigger tank lasts longer? Or is it something else that I am misunderstanding? I also read about people comparing different shops and talking about the Best Amaron 50Ah battery dealers in Oud Metha, which made me wonder how anyone decides who is actually best, because every shop says the same nice things on the phone. Do you go by the price, the warranty, the reviews, or just how the person at the counter behaves? Another thing is that my car is very light on electronics, only a radio and a small fan, so do I even need the same size as before, or could a slightly smaller one work for a cheaper price? I am scared of making a silly mistake and ending up with a battery that does not sit properly in the tray. Also, how long should a 50Ah battery last in a car that does short trips most days? My uncle says two years is already good in this heat, but my cousin says four is normal. If anyone has used this size before, please tell me what car you had and how it went for you. Simple words are best, I am no expert at all. Thanks for helping a beginner.
