I work in Dubai Investments Park and my daily commute is killing my car, lots of short trips and stop start traffic. My service is due and I really don't want to waste a whole Saturday sitting in a waiting room somewhere across town. A friend told me to look for Trusted car repair in Dubai Investments Park so I can drop it off near work and pick it up after. Has anyone found a place around here that's actually efficient? I'm not looking for the cheapest option, just somewhere that respects my time and doesn't keep the car for two days for a basic service. Also would be great if they could do a proper inspection while it's there since I've been ignoring a slight vibration for a while now.

Ideally looking for Quality car service workshop for ICAD drivers that's actually convenient and doesn't keep the car for days on end. Would also be great if they could do early morning drop off so I can get to work on time.

Someone decided to run their key along my driver side door last week. It's not super deep but it's definitely through the clear coat and you can feel it with your fingernail. I'm hoping it can be polished out but I'm not sure if that's realistic or if I'm just being optimistic. Did a detailer manage to make it disappear or is it always going to be visible? I've got a 997.1 Carrera and like every other owner I've been reading horror stories about the IMS bearing for years. Mine's at 68k now and the paranoid part of me wants to get it inspected before something catastrophic happens. The dealer quoted me an amount that made me close the browser tab immediately. A friend who tracks his Cayman told me about a Premium Porsche repair garage in Musaffah and said they've done proper engine work on these cars, not just oil changes and brake pads. I'm not saying I definitely need the bearing replaced but I want someone who can actually assess it and give me an honest answer rather than scare tactics. Has anyone here had IMS related work done in the UAE? What did it cost and did you feel confident in the shop afterwards?
